Seeking a Full-time Vocational Specialist to provide integrated care and transition assistance to individuals and family members on an interdisciplinary team serving 68 adults diagnosed with serious mental illness. Position involves significant fieldwork and home visits.
The Vocational Specialist will assess job readiness for all ACT clients, and provide placement assistance and job counseling for those determined to be job ready. The Vocational Specialist assists with any barriers to obtaining employment, and provides assistance through all phases of vocational services. Services are provided both individually and in group settings. Must be detail oriented, have excellent communication skills and be able to document in an electronic health record. Bachelor’s degree required, with experience in vocational/employment counseling, preferred candidate has a Master’s Degree in the Human Services field and is licensed or license-eligible.
