Seeking NYS licensed clinical social workers (LMHC, LMSW, or LCSW) to provide “out of the box” therapy. Looking for therapists with experience working with people in recovery, anger management, illnesses like HIV/AIDS, cancer, caregiver's issues, mood disorders like Depression or PTSD, OCD, sexual addiction, history of sexual abuse, GLBTQI, racism/discrimination, and economic marginalized populations.
Therapists will provide direct clinical services to adults in the clinic; Day and evening hours available; requires knowledge of Article 31 services and regulations; must be able to maintain full compliance with documentation; Knowledge of evidence based practices preferred, such as Wellness Self-Management, CBT, Co-occurring Substance Use Disorders, and Trauma Informed Treatment.
Therapists run skills development group defined inside the therapeutic group models used at Postgraduate Center for Mental Health to prevent relapse and foster interpersonal skills of the patients.
Therapy is offered from a psychodynamic, cognitive, behavioral or medical model of care, based on the specific needs of the client. Specialized services include group therapy, art therapy, couples therapy, substance abuse counseling, psychotherapy (including anger management and "Seeking Safety"), case management, peer to peer support, parole mandate support, and medication consultation and management.
